How it all started
Started Learning in 1997
Majid started learning in 1997. Self Taught using two line kite setup and a surfboard, he then discovered twin tips in 2002 in Bretagne, France where he began teaching. Managed Explora 4 years, Managed PK 25 – Dakhla 2 years biggest center in Africa (Kite & Wingfoil Center) – Dakhla.

Majid wins Championship for kitesurfing. Titled Moroccan Kitesurf Champion both 2005 & 2006.
Begins Freelance Teaching & Kite Maroc is born.
For over 20 years, Majid teaches Kitesurfing and surfing freelance for various schools between Essaouira, Dakhla & Tarifa, Spain. He creates Kite Maroc clothing brand.
Manager & Team Lead
Majid worked with Explora Watersports in Essaouira, Morocco & Tarifa, Spain managing the team of instructors, maintaining Explora as top watersports center in both areas for 4 years. He also managed PK 25 in Dakha, Morocco. One of Africa’s largest water centre
Partners with Duotone & Kite Maroc School Opens
Destination Manager for Duotone Kiteboarding, Premium Kitesurfing Brand in the world. After ending contract with PK 25 , Majid opens Kite Maroc School in Essaouira…and the story continues.

Behind Kite Maroc Essaouira
Kite Maroc is a family business, with a family of kitesurfers. Owner Majid is a pioneer kitesurfer in Morocco as one of the first kitesurfers in the Essaouira area, honoured as 2005 & 2007 Moroccan Kitesurf Champion. With over 25 years in the industry as an instructor, manager and now business owner, Majid is an expert in kitesurfing. He is excited to launch his own kite, surf and wingfoil school and cafe in his hometown of Essaouira, Morocco. Learn to kitesurf with one of the best in the business. Kite Maroc is a longtime brand in the local Moroccan surf scene, supported by and supporting of the local surfers and kitesurfers in Morocco and globally.
