From Self-Taught Rider to Moroccan Champion

Kite Maroc owner Majid discovered kitesurfing in its earliest days, teaching himself with a simple two-line kite and a surfboard long before modern equipment existed. His determination and passion quickly helped him develop into one of Morocco’s leading riders. His dedication to the sport earned him the title of Moroccan Kitesurf Champion in 2005 & 2007, establishing him as one of the country’s most respected kitesurfers and helping shape the growth of the sport in Morocco.

Over 25 Years of Experience

With more than two decades of teaching and coaching experience, Majid has introduced thousands of students from around the world to kitesurfing, surfing, and wingfoiling. Throughout his career he has worked across Morocco and Europe, teaching in destinations including Essaouira, Dakhla, and Tarifa. His experience ranges from coaching complete beginners to helping advanced riders refine their technique, always with a strong emphasis on safety, confidence, and progression.

Leading World-Class Watersports Centres

Beyond teaching, Majid has built an impressive career managing some of Morocco’s most respected watersports centres. He spent several years leading instructor teams and operations at Explora Watersports in both Essaouira and Tarifa before managing PK25 in Dakhla, one of Africa’s largest and most renowned kiteboarding and wingfoiling centres. These leadership roles allowed him to train instructors, oversee operations, and deliver exceptional experiences for riders from every corner of the world.
